This clinic is an introduction to rock climbing and is available to both men and women. You will be climbing an actual rock escarpment in Allamuchy Mountain State Park near Stanhope, New Jersey. The focus will be on learning the the basic climbing skills used in ascending a rock cliff. We provide an opportunity to experience the exhilarating feeling of moving safely in the vertical world, at the same time, our instructors will put your fears at ease with their unique teaching style. All climbing ropes, helmets, rock shoes, harnesses, and other safety equipment is provided by the school.

Each student receives a course outline, a glossary of climbing terms, a standard locking carabineer, a certificate of completion, and a coupon toward the next successive climbing clinic.
